WORLD PREMIERE: 'There Was A Garden' - (Bangor - March 29)

'There Was A Garden' - A major new choral work setting *previously unseen* poetry by R.S. Thomas

WORLD PREMIERE Bangor Cathedral, March 29

I’ve had the privilege of working with the R.S. Thomas Research Centre at Bangor University to set a selection of never-seen-before poems by celebrated Welsh Poet, R.S. Thomas, to be sung by the Choir of Saint Deiniol’s Cathedral in Bangor. The Cathedral, Research Centre and I have crafted the poems into a narrative arc that reflects on the themes of Easter and Holy Week. This is my second commission from the Cathedral and it’s a real honour to be working with them and their wonderful choir again.
